A responsible ten-year-old, Stella, carries an invisible weight: the relentless need to do everything right. As perfectionism turns into anxiety, the expectations surrounding her begin to steal the simple joy of being a kid.
During one busy summer day—split between back-to-back tennis and golf lessons—Stella feels the world pressing in on her as her inner critic grows louder. But her six-year-old sister, Gemma, is having a completely different day. Gemma finds wonder everywhere, from kitchen dance parties to smelling the roses. Through her effortless joy, Gemma unintentionally pulls Stella back into the present moment. With a deep breath and a quiet shift in perspective, Stella learns that childhood isn't a performance to master—it's a life to be lived.
